A 7 night fully guided luxury yoga retreat in the Peruvian Andes. We will collect you at Cusco airport and stay the night in the ancient town before transferring to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the Sacred Valley, we will spend our time at our luxury centre practicing yoga and meditation, hiking and also visiting local archaeological sites in the area. We will participate in a traditional ceremony with a local shaman from Keros before visiting Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world. This will all be will be with professional guides, yoga teachers, and meals at our wonderful luxury yoga and wellness resort.

Each of us will make our way to Cusco airport before 11am to start our luxury yoga tour. Today as we adjust to the altitude we will not have a yoga class, but we will have a guided walk to San Blas and Koricancha. We have time in the evening for a talk, meditation, a welcome dinner, and an evening of getting to know one other prior to our yoga retreat. Dinner.
After breakfast we will head out with our private guide to visit the site of Saqsayhuaman (pronounced sexy woman). We will then visit the megalithic Inca site and that of Tambomachay before lunch at a cafe of your choice in Cusco. In the afternoon we will go through the Andes to our luxury yoga centre, Willka Tika. We will get settled in and receive an orientation. You have time to schedule in spa services and try out the yoga shala for our first class, before a delicious vegetarian meal. We have all the equipment here, but we do recommend bringing your own yoga mat. In the evening we will also have time for meditation and a discussion on meditation techniques. Breakfast, dinner.
Upon waking we will hold a yoga class which will set you up for the day. We can discuss people's requirements, as we can teach both Iyengar and Yin yoga. Breakfast is included, before we spend the day focusing on our connection to Mother Earth (Pacha Mama). A visiting Shaman from the Keros community will be taking us for private coca leaf readings, and you also have the opportunity to buy some hand woven local textiles and help to support local families.
For those that would like a walk we can visit the local farming community in the Sacred Valley with our private guide, and in the evening we partake in a further Andean ceremony with our Shaman from Keros before our yoga practice and dinner.
Breakfast, Lunch and dinner
We are now accustomed to our early morning yoga, and as we progress through the week we will find our bodies relaxing and bending more. Today we will participate in a day of Ayni (exchange), heading high into the Andes to visit a small local school that is twinned with the centre. We will be visiting and taking donations of school equipment, but we will not be allowed to disturb the classes. We then head out to the Inca site of Pisac to spend the afternoon between the fabulous site and the colourful Pisac market. Late afternoon we have the opportunity to have a further yoga class. Breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
An early rise today as we head to the citadel of Machu Picchu on the tourist train. We will visit the citadel with our private guide and learn more about the cultures that lived there all those years ago. We will return on the train back to the Sacred Valley and have dinner at Willka Tika. Time restraints will make it difficult to include yoga today, but we can of course meditate in Machu Picchu Breakfast, dinner.
After a morning class and a delicious breakfast we will be taken in our private vehicle to the original Inca town of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon we will have a further yoga and meditation practice and some free time to organise a spa session or a walk in the surrounding hills.
A final day of yoga and meditation in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the beautiful Willka Tika luxury yoga resort. We will have an extended yoga session this morning, after which the afternoon is free to take walks in the hills, visit a local pottery workshop, or explore the local market. Your tour leader is on hand to assist you with your plans. Perhaps you will choose to simply sit in the main square of the town and watch the world go by. This evening we have a celebratory dinner. We say our goodbyes as we end our luxury Peru yoga retreat and are taken back to the airport. If you would like to extend your vacation, or you can add on a visit to Lake Titicaca, the Amazon or somewhere else in South America. Breakfast.
Our main accommodation is the Willka Tika luxury wellness and yoga centre. The hotel has beautifully appointed rooms, with twin beds and doors out to the gardens. They have an incredible spa where you can pay extra for massages, reflexology, or facials. You can also take rejuvenating walks in the local area and meditate in the seven chakra gardens surrounded by humming birds.
The lodge has a wonderful yoga space with views of the mountains and the colourful gardens. All meals at the luxury yoga retreat are vegetarian and made by our professional chefs.

In Cusco, we have one night in a small 3 star property before heading to Willka Tika.
All prices are based on two sharing. Single supplements are also available. It is also possible to upgrade room category.
Please arrive to Cusco airport before 11am on the 26th of March 2022 for transfer to the hotel in Cusco to begin our yoga retreat. We can arrange a private transfer at extra cost if required.
Arrange departure anytime on the 2nd of April at the end of the retreat.

In general we will have 2 classes a day, one in the morning of 90 minutes and one in the afternoon of 60 to 90 minutes that may also include meditation. You do not need to take both classes every day however, it's up to you.
These yoga retreats are for any standard of yogi from absolute beginner to expert. We host two groups separated by experience and confidence, and we will decide what group you are in the first day. If you'd later like to swap between the two just let us know. In addition, if you would like to travel with a non-yogi, ask us about special pricing.
We cater for all dietary requirements, and while some of our centres will be 100% vegetarian, most will have vegan and non-vegan options. When we have lunch or dinner out however, you can eat whatever you like. Do let us know any preferences.
We do not provide visas, but we can help you if you do require one.
We do not include these as our guests come from all over the world, but with our many years experience in this field we can help find the best routing for you.

If you would prefer not to pay the single supplement you can share a room with a person of the same sex. We will pair you with a room partner.
Every guest is required to bring their own yoga mat. Otherwise, ask us about packing lists for each specific destination. We will supply blocks, straps and blankets.
