A 7 night yoga retreat in Thailand visiting 2 iconic areas of the country. We being the journey in the northern city of Chiang Mai with its beautiful temples. One of our days will be a visit to the thought-provoking White Temple. The second part of the trip is the tropical island of Koh Lanta and 4 nights in a 5 star beach resort. On each day of the trip we will partake in yoga practice with our professional teachers. Meditation is also part of our focus.
Arrive into Chiang Mai before midday and transfer to the hotel. After our long journey we have a free afternoon (as a massage is included in your stay here it might be a good time). We have a yoga class in the afternoon for 75 minutes. A welcome dinner in the evening. Overnight Chiang Mai.
We have an early morning yoga session before breakfast and then we head out with our private guide. We are visiting the Doi Inthanon national park. There are many highlights on this day with a visit to the highest point of Thailand and also the 2 holy relics pagodas with their beautiful gardens. We also have an opportunity to stretch our legs and an easy 2 hour walk in the countryside. The walk visits the local coffee area which you can buy direct from the local farm. We have a short yoga and mediation session this evening.
We begin the day with breakfast as we have a long travel day to travel north to the White Temple. The Temple is a modern Buddhist Temple with some incredible and intricate art. Look for Hello Kitty and Harry Potter in the main temple. You will also visit the Karen tribe, the ladies known for their long necks. From a young age they are adding the rings to their necks, this is a long standing tradition and we are visiting to help preserve those traditions. After arriving back we have a short yoga and meditation session. Afternoon yoga session.
We begin the day with yoga before breakfast and then prepare to travel south. On our way to the airport we will visit the beautiful temple of Doi Suthep that looks out over the city. The temple is known as one of the most sacred and is necessary on any visit to Chiang Mai. We then fly to Krabi where we are collected and taken to the resort in the South of Koh Lanta island. We have yoga and meditation in the evening.
We begin our day with yoga in the studio. We will have a longer class as the rest of the day is completely free. Lunch is included for you today. We will have an early evening yoga session.
Early morning yoga before breakfast and then we will meet to head on our day trip to the island of Koh Rok. This is a day of snorkelling in pristine waters. We will supply your snorkelling equipment and you also have a BBQ lunch on board the boat. We will return to the hotel and our evening yoga session and the last night of our 7 night yoga retreat in Thailand.
The day begins with yoga and then breakfast and we have a half day tour of the island visiting the Lanta old town. This is more of a sightseeing day with shopping opportunities as you will want to take home some gifts from Thailand. The rest of the day is free. We will have afternoon yoga and a farewell dinner.
Yoga in the morning and then breakfast before we depart for Krabi airport and home. Let us know if you would like to extend your plans to Bangkok or some other areas of Thailand.
We will use a selection of well known and comfortable 4 and 5 star accommodation throughout the trip. All hotels have been checked and are perfectly located.
In Chiang Mai our home is the beautiful Marnadee Resort. Perched on the river with stunning grounds and a focus on wellness.
Pimalai on Koh Lanta with its private beach is our 5 star haven with the emphasis on relaxation and water.
Please arrive at Chiang Mai airport around midday on 31st of October for transfer to the city.

There are international flights from all over the world to Thailand. We can help you look at the best schedule for you.
In general we will have 2 classes a day, one in the morning of 90 minutes and one in the afternoon of 60 to 90 minutes that may include meditation also. You do not need to take both classes every day, it is up to you.
These yoga retreats are for any standard of yogi including absolute beginners. We also cater for expert yogis also. We give the instruction for group 1 and group 2 and we will decide what group you are in the first day although you can swap between the 2 if you like. In addition if you would like to travel with a non yogi ask about special pricing.
They are not, we cater for all dietary requirements and some yoga centres may be 100% vegetarian but when we have lunch or dinner out you can eat what you like. Do let us know any preferences.
We do not provide visas but we can help you if you do need a visa.
We do not include these as people come from all over the world, we can help you find the best routing as we have many years experience in this field.
You can have a guaranteed single room by paying the single supplement.
If you would prefer not to pay the single supplement you can share a room with a person of the same sex. We will pair you with a room partner.
Ask us about packing lists for each specific destination but everyone should bring a yoga mat. We will supply blocks, straps and blankets.
