Life has changed in so many ways for everyone. We are teaching a lot more yoga and also doing a few more classes which is lovely, the amount of exercise I am doing has increased dramatically as I am no longer sitting at a desk 8 hours a day. I find it difficult to get a good balance when I am working a full-time office job. I also have more time to talk and I am making more frequent calls to friends and family.
Couch to 5k
I have started back on my couch to 5k, I was getting pretty good but gave up in February because of physical exhaustion I have started to slowly introduce it back into my schedule. It's a lovely way to get out and I do love a run along the Clyde, it brings a smile to my face. I have slowed it down this time and I am running once every 3 days, I think that is enough.
One of things I am personally finding difficult is being in limbo and unable to make plans for the future, is this a lesson on living in the present as we are meant to? Interesting as I do love to make a plan although not too far into the future.
Free yoga classes
Our free yoga classes are going great, we are doing 6pm Monday, 9am Wednesday and a newly added Yin yoga class on a Friday morning. All proceeds are going direct to Glasgow Women's Aid and if you would like to participate just send us an email. Contact
We have added the Yin class as we are in the middle of a training course and need to practice and learn more and the best way is in a class situation. We are also studying every day as it is a whole new practice to us but one that we are thoroughly enjoying. It is much slower than we are used to and brings a whole new bunch of sensations to us.
Have a lovely week everyone and please do get in touch with us if you want to discuss anything yoga related or otherwise. Remember we have some lovely yoga retreats available including a Scotland based yoga holiday if you want to stay closer to home.
